How to Become a TWT Apprentice
and Start Your Career Journey

Are you a young man or woman aging out of foster care? Do you want to learn valuable and transferable skills, and find a rewarding career? If so, you might be interested in becoming a TWT Apprentice.

TWT Centers is a vocational manufacturing center for youth aging out of foster care. It was started by American Outreach Foundation and shares the same core purpose of making people happy.

As a TWT Apprentice, you will:

  • Receive training, mentoring, education, and support from us

How Long Is the TWT Apprenticeship Program?

The TWT Apprenticeship program lasts for 12 months and leads to a certificate of completion.

What Happens After You Graduate from the Program?

After graduating from the program, you will:

  • Receive job placement assistance and ongoing support from TWT Centers and its partners

  • Have access to internships that will give you hands-on experience and exposure to different work environments

  • Have the opportunity to work in various sectors and industries that need your skills. Whether it’s construction, engineering, design, or something else, you will find a place where you can apply what you learned and excel at it.

What Kind of Tasks and Responsibilities Can You Help With?

Some of the tasks and responsibilities that you can help with are:

  • Developing and implementing strategies and plans for TWT Centers

  • Creating and managing marketing campaigns and materials for TWT Centers

  • Recruiting and hiring staff and volunteers for TWT Centers

  • Providing legal advice and assistance for TWT Centers

  • Establishing and maintaining collaborations with other organizations for TWT Centers

  • Setting up and running committees for various aspects of TWT Centers

  • Creating and managing social media posts to establish and expand the presence and reach of TWT Centers on different platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Discord, YouTube, etc.

  • Advocating for and promoting TWT Center in the gaming world and introducing it to a new and diverse audience using platforms like Twitch or YouTube, etc.

  • Setting up and leading a task force or committee to raise awareness of TWT Center among the foster care system administration and the judiciary, and to facilitate the referral and transition of foster youth to TWT Center.

How to Volunteer with TWT Center

TWT Center is currently in the process of raising capital funding to start its operations. We are working hard to secure the funding we need to launch the program as soon as possible.

However, volunteers are welcome to help at any time, now and/or all along until we launch TWT Center. We are grateful for any support in time and talent that you can offer to us, whether online or in person. Every contribution counts and makes a difference.
