Need A Power Chair Program
Since 2007, American Outreach Foundation, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit, has served the needs of Veterans and Low Income Families throughout the Coachella Valley of Southern California that do not have the financial means or who are under-insured, to cover this type of assistance.
Everyone suffering from any kind of impairment qualifies for our assistance, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, immigration status, or financial situation.

To Find Out if You Qualify!

Does your doctor recommend that you use a scooter or power chair?

Can you provide a prescription or a letter of medical necessity from your doctor?

Can you provide a letter of denial from your insurance provider?

Do you need financial assistance to purchase a new scooter or power chair?

Can you provide proof of annual income, ex: copy of tax return, annual SSI income, etc ?

If you answered YES
to the above questions, you may qualify for our program. **

Important Message!

If you qualify, you will receive a selected electric wheelchair or scooter from our inventory that best suits your needs.

Our inventory is made of donated models from a variety of brands in various condition - from “used” to “very good”.

You will receive a mobility device in a good working condition.
-
All mobility devices are given free of charge! However, the recipient is responsible for the cost of the batteries.

The price of the set of two NEW batteries varies depending the size of the mobility device.
-
If you cannot afford the cost of batteries, you may receive financial assistance based on program funding availability.
