Restoring mobility, dignity, and independence for veterans, seniors, and families throughout the Coachella Valley.
Since its founding in 2007, American Outreach Foundation (AOF) has worked with a clear purpose: to strengthen our community and improve the lives of individuals facing hardship. Across the Coachella Valley, AOF serves veterans, seniors, low-income families, and individuals living with physical challenges, offering compassionate support that restores dignity, independence, and hope.
American Outreach Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 26-0427467) dedicated to direct community service and practical assistance.
The American Outreach Foundation began with a simple belief: when members of a community face hardship, someone should step forward to help.
What started as a small effort to assist individuals with urgent mobility needs gradually evolved into a structured nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring independence and improving quality of life for those facing physical and financial challenges.
Over time, this commitment developed into the programs and services AOF provides today throughout the Coachella Valley.

Our mission is guided by a simple principle: service above self.
We stand alongside individuals and families who feel overlooked, powerless, or without options, helping restore mobility, independence, and quality of life. Through this support, many individuals experience something equally important — the reassurance that they are seen, valued, and no longer invisible within their community.
AOF remains committed to treating every person with fairness, respect, and compassion while helping build stronger and more supportive communities.
At the heart of our work is the Mobility Support and Maintenance Program.
Over the years, AOF has helped place a significant number of electric wheelchairs and mobility scooters throughout the Coachella Valley, restoring independence to individuals whose mobility had been severely limited.
Today, the program focuses primarily on repair, maintenance, replacement parts, and ongoing support for those mobility devices. By keeping essential equipment functioning and accessible, AOF continues to protect the independence and quality of life of the individuals who rely on them every day.
For nearly two decades, AOF has worked directly with individuals and families across the Coachella Valley, developing practical solutions to mobility challenges through hands-on service, equipment support, and community partnerships.

AOF assists individuals experiencing mobility challenges and situational hardship, with a special focus on veterans, seniors, low-income families, and individuals living with physical impairments.
Anyone facing immediate mobility challenges may qualify for assistance, regardless of age, ethnicity, gender, immigration status, or financial situation.
Our goal is not only to respond to immediate needs, but to help people move forward with greater dignity, independence, and confidence.
Every mobility device delivered, every repair completed, and every service call answered represents more than assistance — it represents renewed independence, restored dignity, and a better quality of life.
The impact extends beyond the individual recipient. Restoring mobility often creates a ripple effect of relief and renewed hope for caregivers, family members, and support networks who help care for those facing physical limitations.
